International Homicide Investigators Association

Jason Jensen is newly accepted member of the International Homicide Investigators Association, since August 2018.  Founded in 1988, the mission of the International Homicide Investigators

Association is to provide its members with support in homicide

and death investigations through the provision of leadership,

training, networking, resources and expertise necessary to solve

cases.

The American Investigative Society of Cold Cases

Jason Jensen is a member of the American Investigative Society of Cold Cases since August 2017.   AISOCC is an elite group of experts to assist in solving cold cases.  Jason Jensen is proud to be part of this elite group.

International Association of Bloodstain Pattern Analysts

Jason Jensen is a member of the International Association of Bloodstain Pattern Analysts since September 2017.   The mission of the IABPA is to promote education and establish both training and practical standards, and to support and encourage scientific research in the forensic discipline of Bloodstain Pattern Analysis.  The IABPA currently is represented by hundreds of members worldwide from various scientific, law enforcement, and legal backgrounds.  Jason Jensen is proud to be part of that small worldwide community.

Cold Case Coalition

Jason Jensen along with co-founders Karra Porter and Tom Harvey formed the Utah Cold Case Coalition in January 2018.  In 2018, the Coalition had Rosie's Law passed in Utah requiring a statewide cold case database.   Starting in 2019, the coalition re-branded itself for nationwide appeal calling itself the Cold Case Coalition.  In April 2020, it will be opening the worlds first non-profit DNA lab, Intermountain Forensics.

Association for Crime Scene Reconstruction

This was the hardest membership for Jason Jensen to obtain.  He tried for six years to join; the process is peer-reviewed.  Finally in May 2018, the ACSR approved Jason Jensen for a supporting membership.  Since then he has been approved by the board as a regular member with full voting rights.

International Association for Identification

The IAI is the oldest and largest forensic science identification association.  The IAI was the first organization that Jason Jensen joined.  He has been a member since October 2016.
